Believe it or not, I've managed to fathom not only the mysteries of editing
in the MS program, I've even managed to take a shot at the PAGE programs
for both layout AND PARTS!!!

Several observations:

(1) the DP command only seems to work when you type Z1 afterwards.

(2) rehearsal numbers only appeared in the topmost staff of each system,
contrary to MS.LCS which states on p. 10-1 that "if rehearsal numbers, with either
circles ... or boxes ... appear in the score they will appear in all parts."

(3) other strange things appear in the parts --- I'll have to show you.

My edited full score now resides at XHARA.- through XHAUA.MS; parts reside
at TUBAA-TUBAG.MS, TROMA-TROMG.MS, CORNA-CORNG.MS, and VOICA-VOICG.MS.

Eventually, I'd like some pointers on how to do systems which take more
than one file.   Yung
